PS: Couldn't click proper pictures as we had spent most of the time behind the wheel.

Me and Varun reached the ORR entrance by sharp 6 AM

Slowly all cars started to join. We had a short introductory session, met some old and new faces.

We started our drive towards Hill Park Jadcherla by 6:30 AM.

We cruised on the ORR at 100km/hr, thanks to the speed limits.

Once we hit the highway, all the hell broke loose, we started picking up the pace.

VRS took the lead for few mintues, I had a hard time keeping up with it even though nitin88 wasn't pushing his car.

Our first stop was after crossing the Jadcherla toll.

All of us felt that we reached the destination rather quickly than expected.

We decided to drive down a little further towards Food Pyramid.

We took a quick tea break at a road side dhaba.

Meanwhile, our members started checking out the new VRS.

After tea, we resumed our journey.

We reached the next toll in no time and pulled over to regroup.

We started discussing about the cars and road trips which never has an end when you have enthusiasts around.

Road condition is superb all the way, best highway to drive.

We reached food pyramid by 9 AM while everyone were damn hungry.

We had a heavy breakfast while we discussed about our road trip experiences.

After spending an hour at the Food Pyramid, few wanted to drive down further until the Blue Moon restaurant for lunch.

But few of us had to drive back home, and we so we drove back.

Re-fill point

While fueling up, we got to know that the fuel attendent accidentally filled up petrol in a 108 ambulance while it had a patient on board. They soon shifted him/her to another vehicle and moved ahead.

Please be extra cautious while filling up on the highways.

Out next regroup point was at the Jadcherla toll and we pulled over after crossing the toll gate.

Within 5 minutes everyone of us regrouped.

And the discussions continued for another 30 minutes, none were bothered about the soaring sun :cooler:

We decided to split from this point as few of the cars had to divert from the ORR.

A weekend well spent. It was great meeting Apuroop for the first time and we hope to see you all in the next drive.
Cheers to nitin88 for initiating the drive and congratulations on your new VRS.

It's just perfect like how I want. Cornering at 150kmph also goes as flat as you drive on straight road.

For city roads, it's just like another German car. It will never match Maruti/Hyundai for city roads.

Hey Nitin, I guess, VRS is about driving pleasure above all else, I dont think Skoda had made it to match Maruti/Hyundai anyway (no offence to Maruti/Hyundai owner, I am Hyundai owner too:)) . Its a great car! very nice choice. I feel carbon fiber black roof would have been even better.. especially on the red shade.. Btw, does it get dynamic chassis control? it is very useful for our road condition.

Just take care at the time of servicing.. be there with the car all the time.. Skoda is very well product, but lacks heavily on servicing here in India. Several reports are there for theft, cheating, parts replacement etc. So buddy, just take care of that. be there with the car always, it will ensure nobody can change any parts or something.  I own Hyundai, though they are very very good at servicing, but I never left my car alone at service centre, unless its a job of repair for 2-3 days.

It was never about trust, its just.. I like it. Be there with the car, she needs you! :)

Cheers!

I was happy Skoda owner for past 3years :)

DCC is not offered in India. UK with DCC is costing a lot. I doubt it's worthy that price. If they import with DCC, it will cost 38-40L.

Current pricing is perfect, ~40 lakhs can be disaster.

Yes, a whooping 40L makes no sense. I was thinking if it could be delivered around 28-30L.  :)

Without that also, its great car for petrolheads like us! Its really good to see that, they actually bought this engine in India with vRS.:)
