prodigy.ravi 7 Report post Posted July 5, 2017 Hi all, I am planning to drive from Hyderabad to Chirala. We are planning to stay at Sea breeze resort. There are multiple routes pointing to Chirila, which is the Best route?
Ranger 4,584 Report post Posted July 5, 2017 There are two routes available. Nalgonda route is the best route to take, less traffic and peaceful to drive, new road NAM expressway made the drive, stress free. Last 100 kilometers is single road, road condition is average. NAM expressway Via Nalgonda Hyderabad -- Nalgonda -- Narasaraopet -- Chilakaluripeta -- Chirala Via Vijayawada Hyderabad -- Suryapet -- Vijayawada -- Chilakaluripeta -- Chirala
abhinay1189 68 Report post Posted July 5, 2017 Via Nalgonda is better, I took the route while coming back from Amravati. Watch out of trucks especially after crossing Andhra Pradesh border.

No idea about the present condition of Piduguralla to Chilakaluripeta But Chilakaluripeta to Chirala is single road in excellent condition.

If you are taking Vijayawada route, you can find LPG pumps at Vijayawada. If you are taking NAM expressway, chances of finding a LPG pump is tough.

Both Suryalanka and Chirala are extremely hot during summers. I have experienced a walk on the hot summer beach sand during one of my visits to these beaches. You can still plan a weekend drive to these places. You can start on a good Saturday morning. Reach by late noon and check in to you hotel and relax. Fall out after 5PM on to the beach. Bearing the humid beach side weather will be the only rough task that evening. Nights are cool and the next day's sunrise would be the best. You can start back to Hyderabad on Sunday post breakfast and reach home by evening.

Apart from beach side resorts, any information on good hotels for overnight stay in Chirala town or within 10 km radius?

Sea Breeze resort is the only good option in that area and after that, you can consider the little Buddha resort as your next option which is also pretty decent compared to the rest.
