Government should build a tourism hotel in Lambasingi.

Such a wonderful place without a proper accommodation is pain.

They should at least allow camping.

Nature at its best.Nice travel story.
Thank you for sharing.

Lambasingi is added to my priority list.

Agree on this issue.

Lack of proper accommodation, not giving permission for private hotels.

Government should step up, start encouraging tourism.

Awesome stuff @TDI , your report really inspires me to do this drive soon, Is it safe for the families to rent a stay between the forest or any complaints as i've heard before that this place comes under the naxals place. Or if not, do we have a plan to organize a drive meet up to this place any time soon ? :D

Good report@tdi
@sharma I don't think so they have any proper accommodation.
TDI can confirm.

There are few home stays but going with family is a gamble.

Really good info. Thank you so much, I think I am gonna do the trip this week only! But do we have any info about any new hotels, as the post is from 2017 Feb, and now it end of 2018.

Any such updates ?

Hey Charles, There are a few places which have come up recently around Lambasingi. Few of them are Vooda Residency, Tejaswi Cottages and few others which are a little faraway named Saptagiri resorts and Buradaveedhi lodge (Campsite with bonfire)

Apart from the above, there are a lot of home stays around Lambasingi..

Last time when we went to Visakapatnam, my friends staying there told us that there is nothing at Lambasingi  to visit and enjoy except the journey. They also told me that the place is dirty. After reading your report, it seems they are wrong. Once in 2-3 years we camp in Vishaka, next time we plan to visit the place.

An early morning drive to Lambasingi from Maredumilli in the mist is an absolute breeze. Every road trip enthusiast will love it. :)
