It was during the time when we just got done with our final sem exams and all of us got excited about this Road trip to Goa for a much needed break. We planned to start in the afternoon but, after all the usual delays, we kicked off the pedal late from Kondapur. Drive between Hyderabad to Goa has always been unrelaxed due to the unpredictable road conditions. The best route always changed every year I drove down till then. Being dependent on Google maps, will drive you down to the woods. A quick research before you start to goa is a definite thing to do, considering all the six different routes available. First half of the journey was very much uneventful with slow moving traffic and narrow lanes. Plying through the town and villages was always easy in the midnight and so we maintained good average in the first leg of the journey. During the second leg of the journey, My techie friend picked up a short cut using Google maps from which we could save around 40 kilometers of run. First 30 kilometers drive was blissful and the next 30 kms took us on an adventure for the whole trip which took 3 hours . The road started to degrade and our Innova took many under-body hits, tough build and high ground clearance saved us for the day. Once we breezed to Goa, all that fatigue we carried during the drive started to vanish. We reached the hotel easily using GPS and having no time to rest, all of us headed to the beach.
