    Drive to Akka Mahadevi caves

good that you missed, good that Gowtham did not get permission , good that me and sridhar did not initiate a whatsapp conversation. Lot of patience and determination required. Looking at the horrific traffic i remembered my saleswaram trip but at least that was to say hello to God ..

i am planning something in August.. Hyd-tirupati-kanipakam-pondy-rameswaram-danushkodi-kanyakumari-kovalam-allapuzha-munnar-blore-hyd.. This is tentative as of now provided my company gives me leaves
  8. My Rajasthan trip was a long pending trip .. Have been planning it since ages with family but everytime there were some hurdles. Even this time there were major hurdles but decided not to care anymore and just go . Day1/2: Jaipur- Booked a single cozy room with terrace on airbnb. We took a two wheeler for travel within Jaipur. my 4 year old had good fun on the two wheeler.. In Jaipur we went to Hawamahal (dirty) Jantar Mantar (boring as we have evolved a lot and most of the things failed to attract me logically) Amber palace (beautiful) City palace (duh!) Nahargarh Fort (just a city view) Jaigarh Fort (nice) Local market/Bapu bazaar (awesome as per my wife as she just shopped and i walked around with kid) Sheesh Mahal (nice )

  10. Initially i did plan a road trip through gujarat and then jaiselmer/udaipur etc etc last Jaipur and return.. the return journey from jaipur to hyderabad mainly did not excite me at all plus would be too tiring .. too long i would say .. probably the thought of managing the kid throughout scared me as well ... Jaipur why ? i somehow did not like Jaipur at all .. rest yes awesome they are..
  11. really .. this was inclusive of breakfast and dinner, some cultural activities, camel ride .. 5500 per day for a cottage .. MMT mein they said best offer as well

    Hyderabad to Sikkim road trip

@Rangeri see this as the next destination .. how difficult is the terrain overall? During my Spiti trip i found driving post 9pm towards reckong peo to be the toughest and post sunset at Hikkim/Koumik... When you were describing the roads my brain was remembering these roads ... So you took Mirik route only to go towards Nepal is it? What was total km covered? Duster got new tyres before the trip (they look fresh ). How commercial is sikkim compared to shimla and manali (not the spiti valley)?
  14. i found that overall the roads connecting cities are in fact very well maintained and beautiful .. in and around Jaiselmer as well very good roads..

    Hyderabad - Spiti- Hyderabad

Next year i am planning to do entire inner circuit along with Ladakh during off season.. fingers crossed.. Shimla->nako->kunzum->chandratal->Rohtang->leh->ladakh->Manali.. and all the places in between ..
  16. if u ask me then i would say no.. you can fly to Jaiselmer have fun with desert safari and camel ride (to bring out the kid in u ), the Tannot Mata temple (maintained by BSF) and then head back to hyd. Unless you are into havelis and forts i would say chillax Jaipur is dirty. Pushkar is only for Brahma Temple. Jodhpur - Mehrangarh fort and Jaswant thada are beautiful and mesmerizing but just one time visit i would say. Udaipur- Lake pichola is good and sipping ur fav drink alongside is good but you can get that anywhere .. Still driving from Hyd all the way to Rajasthan i would say not worth at all..
  17. Jaipur(2 nights)- AirBnb costed 1700(2days) Pushkar (1 night)- Treebo Raj Garden -1600 Jodhpur(1 night)- Treebo City centre -1600 Jaiselmer (2 nights)- Desert spring resort -11000(2days) Udaipur (2 nights)- Shree Vilas Orchid -10000(2days).
  18. Well more delay leads to missing more points ..I did miss many of them 🤦‍♂️...
  19. Well we did try but during that time we were not allowed due to the heavy bonding between the two good countries ...
