Ok alright, I'm new to this platform and it been only 5 mins since I discovered it but I love it. I don't own a car but trust me I share the same passion of car as you guys. And not to mention I love motorsport too. So I was thinking whenever it's safe to get back on the Go-kart track we get out there and have some good times. And I really look forward to meeting the fellow car enthusiasts and be a part of this lovely and generous community.

I have been looking for trails similar to this, and this is pure gold for me. Never thought my random google search will result in me finding the type of trails i was looking for in my own back yard.

    Route information

I think there is a 14 day quarantine rule if you are taking a flight. Hyderabad to Nagpur roads are very good but you will end up between some bad roads between Nagpur and Varanasi. Hence I would recommend you to make it a 2 days plan or else start at 3 AM in the morning from Hyderabad. Recommend you to pack your own food. Do share your feedback on the route and road status once your done with the trip. Safe Drives! Cheers
  15. Thanks much for sharing the information @SrikanthP. This will surely be a lot helpful for the travelers between Hyderabad to Bangalore. We are glad that your trip turned out to be safe well. Cheers!

    Route information

Hyderabad to Varanasi will usually take two days to drive. 1. Take permissions (border restrictions) 2. Plan a stopover 3. If you have multiple drivers, with proper planning you can do non stop drive. 4. You need to plan food 5. Washrooms availability is very difficult I would suggest you to plan a stopover at Nagpur or Jabalpur. It is too early to predict situations in mid of August. I would suggest you to consider taking flight with proper precautions.

Hello Friends, I would like to travel from Hyderabad to Varanasi in mid Aug. Have anyone travelled recently. I will travel with kid and during this COVID situation I am really worried. Please suggest me best possible route and information about travel.pass if any required now
  18. Hello Guys, I recently traveled to Bengaluru from Hyderabad and was looking for some information on some pit stops on the way to Bengaluru. I found this thread to be very useful, albeit the information is a little dated. This thread helped me plan my travels better. I wanted to contribute with some updates from my end so that others also can benefit from this thread. Given the ongoing pandemic, we had a lot of apprehensions before travelling with regard to restrictions on the inter state travel, safety, etc., I did some thorough research around the current rules around interstate travel and some safe places on the way to Bengaluru. I wanted to share the information for benefit of everyone in four segments (Rules around interstate movement, Safe pit stops, Drive conditions, Tolls) 1. Rules around interstate movement Given the current situation, I don't think anyone would want to travel for leisure. We had to travel to Bengaluru due to a death emergency in the family. I am sure there would be other unavoidable reasons why people may want to travel. Since, this route involves transiting from 3 different states (Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka), its important to keep yourself updated about the ever changing rules of these three states. You can follow the below steps to ensure that your trip is within the rules of these three states. Karnataka - a. You need to log in to sevasindhu portal (https://sevasindhu.karnataka.gov.in/Sevasindhu/English) and apply for an e-Pass. b. Pls be careful in choosing the category. We chose "Death Emergency" as the category. However, if you want to return within 48 hours of your entry into Karnataka, you need to choose "Inter-state Business traveller" category. If you choose a wrong category, then the authorities will affix a stamp on your hand, compelling you to be home quarantined for 15 days within the address your are going to in Karnataka. 🤯 c. You need to choose the check post through which you will enter and exit Karnataka. We chose Bagepalli Toll plaza as entry and Venkatagirikote checkpost, as the exit. d. You need to enter the entry and exit dates, if these are within 48 hours, then there will be no stamping and home quarantine required. e. Once, submitted, pls print the e-pass and keep it with you, because you need to show the same at multiple places. I would suggest you print the e-pass instead of mobile, because you don't want to keep giving mobile to multiple people increasing the risk of transmission Andhra Pradesh a. There is a check post near Pullur before entering into Kurnool. As long as you have the e-Pass showing you are just transiting through Andhra Pradesh, you are fine. There will be no other questions. You don't need to get out of your car as well. b. On the way back, there will be a check post near Amakthadu, as long as you show that your destination address is in Telangana, they won't ask any further questions. Telangana a. Currently, there is a G.O. M.S no 721 dated May 31, 2020, which allows unrestricted travel to and from Telangana state. They did not even stop us, (infact, I don't remember seeing a border check post also). It was a breeze for us. However, there were talks about lock down being imposed within GHMC area, however, fortunately for us, there was no lock down. Its important to track latest updates from Telangana Polic website, which lays down various rules for movement of public. You can access the site here (https://www.tspolice.gov.in/jsp/homePage?method=getHomePageElements) 2. Safe Pit stops Since, we were travelling with elders, I was very particular about places which offered some hot beverages and clean toilets for refreshing ourselves. After some hours of research, I found 4 places which met the criteria. I am listing them down here for your ready reference a. Pitstop 44, Kurnool - Its relatively newer place with drive in facility. It serves good hot beverages and has clean toilets. We stopped here for around half hour after driving for 3.5 hours from Hyderabad. b. AP02, Anantpur - Even though we haven't stopped here, its got good reviews and also serves some good local food c. Cafe Coffee day, Ramarajupalle - Its an excellent place which serve very good coffee. Its staff were also very well behaved, and properly covered their face and hands with mask and glovers respectively. It also has clean toilets. We stopped here for about half hour. d. Tasty Treat, Anantpur - This is a restaurant which is close to KIA motors plant. It also offers some Korean food and relatively clean. We didn't stop here though. My views are based only on online reviews Since, the road is very good, we didn't have to stop anywhere else and these pit stops are good places after you drive for 3 - 4 hours from either side. 3. Drive Conditions Our drive from Hyderabad to Bengaluru took about 9 hours from door to door. I had to go from Kushaiguda in Hyderabad to RR Nagar in Bengaluru. Both these places are quite far away from their respective city centers. One can target to get from Hyderabad Airport to Bengaluru Airport with in 6:00 - 6:30 hours since, the roads are very good. There is stretch near Kurnool where road renovations is going on. Otherwise, the entire stretch had very good driving conditions. There will be some random vehicles coming in the opposite direction near some villages, one needs to be very careful and slowdown near the villages. There are some badly designed speed bumps near Gooty, which one needs to watch out for. Since, we drove during the day, we could see some beautiful scenes. Attached, is one of the images I took while driving. 4. Toll There are 8 tools between Hyderabad and Bengaluru (not taking the ones on ORR into account). It costed me around 880 on each side. By now, most of you will have Fastag on your vehicle, its a breeze and its hasslefree on 90% of the tolls while some tolls may have some problem in Fastag readers. Hope that this information comes in handy while planning your trip. I must say inspite of all the travel restrictions and ongoing pandemic, our trip was very safe and enjoyable. Keep Tripping!!😀

    Hyderabad to Nagpur Road Trip

Thanks a lot @Dhananjay, for sharing your feedback about the current road status on the route. Much helpful.
  22. Hi @krantee, We are glad to know that we have been of good help to you during your drive to Goa. Also do share your feedback on the latest road status and accommodation details through a separate post so that it would be helpful for a lot of co-travelers. Regarding Koilsagar camping, Yes there are permissions are required to do camping in that area especially when it's a large group. As far as you finish your camping without creating any havoc among the villages you pass through.. it won't be a problem until they don't bother you. I personally don't recommend to ask for permissions with the authorities during this Co-vid chaos. Regarding drive meets, Since you are already registered with the website, you will be getting notifications on your email when there any announcements. Cheers!

    Hyderabad to Varanasi route update

Hi Anmol, Since you are doing this drive in a Creta, I would recommend you to take the Route 2 from the options mentions above. Between, Hyderabad to Lucknow I would suggest you to break down for a night at Jabalpur, You would be passing through a forest region after Nagpur and beyond that the roads are pretty much isolated involving some risk during the night drives. Also, the time to be taken at the state borders during thee Covid circumstances is imaginary.. Hence, I would recommend you to avoid risk and do this in 2 days time.

  27. Road condition /update ( 26 June 2020) Hyderabad > Aurangabad > Dhule > Indore Instead of going via Nagpur - Betul, this time I tried this route for my journey to Indore yesterday as I used to get fed up with the road condition from Betul to Indore despite the fact that Hyderabad to Betul route is very nice and well maintained. Start time : 8:30 AM ( Kondapur ) actual plan was to start at 4 AM. Reached Indore ( Vijay Nagar) at 2:15 AM ( a good 18 hours of drive) Hyderabad- Aurangabad route is pretty good and was able to reach Aurangabad by 4:30 pm. This route has become better now I believe as most of the work is completed. I remembered last year I took around 10 hours to reach Aurangabad. Most of the big restaurants along the route are closed or empty.I decided to have my meal at McDonald’s Aurangabad. They were only allowing drive thru. Border crossing : Only once they check the epass on the border and noted down the detail. Aurangabad > Dhule Started from Aurangabad at 5 pm after the meal and reached Dhule at 9 pm. Aurangabad to Ellora Caves route is good. After Ellora caves there is a patch of around 5-10 km where construction is going on. Road condition is not good and mostly service road being used for both side of the traffic. After this patch - entire route till Dhule is 2 lane with no divider so average speed on this os around 40-50 only. Dhule > Indore Started from Dhule at 9 PM and reached Indore by 2:30 AM. This route/highway is well know and well and well maintained as well Overall not many private vehicle on the route and mostly commercial vehicle are plying in the road. No strict checking at any border. Safe to carry a soft copy of e pass. Have not yet decided which route I would take while coming back from Indore [emoji846] By : Amit Jain Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
